Ex-Google TechLead explains how to have a better time at your job, so that you can avoid quitting it. The fact is that work can be very enjoyable and relaxing, but this requires careful navigation on your part to chart your course. Having quit numerous jobs myself and seeing others quit as well, it is clear to me that we don’t quit companies – we quit people. We quit when there are bad managers that we resent, colleagues who we are jealous of when they receive ill-deserved promotions, or when we’ve just created our own hells through poor lifestyle choices.
